This project marks a key turning point in my photography journey, blending Product Design methodologies to explore identity and societal norms.

I photographed individuals' backs as if they were products, incorporating data like measurements, color samples, and dimensions. This approach examined the intersection of photography and design while addressing two core concepts: stereotypes and consumerism. By obscuring identities, encouraged viewers to confront their assumptions, highlighting how stereotypes influence perception.

Inspired by Chinese metro ads featuring feminized male celebrities, I critiqued the commercialization of appearances and societal trends. Guided by the question, "When people are standardized, what do we truly see through their appearance?" this project challenges viewers to reflect on identity and consumer culture.
